About Sue Leep

Sue LeepSue Leep, owner and Head Trainer of Vision Quest One, has been selling horses, training clients, and judging horse shows in the Hunter and Jumper industry for over 38 years. With a primary focus on quality sales for the show ring, Sue lends her extensive experience to those who are looking for a new horse or those who are looking to consign a horse they have for sale to a quality care sales business.

Over the years Sue has ridden and trained many State, Zone, and National contenders, and champions in the Amateur-Owner, Green Hunter, Amateur Adult, Children’s Hunters, Junior Hunters, Adult and Junior Medals, and Equitation. She is currently focusing on shows in California, Colorado, and the Thermal Hits circuit.

 

As a USEF “R” rated judge in the hunter, jumper and equitation divisions and a USHJA Certified Trainer; Sue is able to stay on the leading edge of the sport by judging competitions throughout the country. Sue is also a qualified equine appraiser, certified by the Society of Equine Appraisers, for which she actively writes appraisals from donations to bankruptcy cases. 10 years ago Sue was instrumental in bringing the USEF $30,000 Franktown Meadows International Hunter Derby to Carson City Nevada. This is an annual top quality, standalone charity event that draws the best Horses and riders on the West Coast. She has acted in such capacities as sponsorship chair, event liaison, and co-commentator for the live stream.
