About Sue Leep

Sue LeepSue Leep, owner and Head Trainer of Vision Quest One, has been selling horses, training clients, and judging horse shows in the Hunter and Jumper industry for over 30 years. With a primary focus on quality training for the show ring, Sue also lends her extensive experience to those who are looking for a new horse or those who are looking to consign a horse they have for sale to a quality care sales business.

Over the years Sue has ridden and trained many State, Zone, and National contenders, and champions in the Amateur Owner, Green Hunter, Amateur Adult, Children’s Hunters, Junior Hunters, Adult and Junior Medals, and Equitation. She is currently focusing on shows in California, Colorado, and the Thermal Hits circuit.

As a recorded USHJA “r” rated judge and USHJA Certified trainer in the hunter, jumper and equitation divisions; Sue is able to stay on the leading edge of the sport by judging competitions throughout the country and is currently working to get her “R” rated judges license. Sue is also involved in a clinic series called “The Studious Horse” an educational classroom and riding clinic about what judges are looking for in the show ring. Sue was also instrumental in bringing the $25,000.00 Franktown Meadows USHJA International and national Hunter Derby, a stand alone charity event, to Carson City, Nevada, 7 years ago. Each year this event continues to draw top quality horses and riders from the West coast. Sue remains involved with the derby in her current capacity as Commentator for the live stream competitions.
